All fencers are required to pay a club membership fee of $65 (which is valid for the 17/18 season). this fee is discounted to $35 if joining after january of the season. Membership is required if you are out for more than 4 practices in a season, and if you wish to receive group or individual lessons. All members are also required to have a current membership with the Ontario Fencing Association and a license with the Canadian Fencing Federation, which can be purchased here (if you are not sure which membership you need, please talk to your coach). Members of the elite and HP programs are expected to fence under WFC at all CFF events. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Head Coach.

Monthly rates are calculated based on 4 weeks in each month. This is to allow for any occasional missed or cancelled practices throughout the year. Refunds will only be given in exceptional circumstances, except when arranged in advance with the club treasurer. Please see this great article which explains why we are not able to offer make-up lessons. We do not offer refunds for missed classes.
If you are interested in joining our intermediate, competitive or elite programs, please talk to one of the coaching staff. Note that these are limited enrolment programs. Places in the elite and high performance programs will be allocated at the sole discretion of the Head Coach. Fencers joining elite or high performance programs are expected to commit to that program for the entire term.
Please note that all COMP, ELITE and HP members are expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date training logs (which include regular competition reports which are due 5 days after the competition).
