monday and thursday practices are running as usual this week. all coaches will be out as normal.

summer shutdown:
westdale fencing club will be closed from august 25 - september 4th. the intro program will start on september 5th and normal practices will resume on september 6th. there may be a couple of special practices during this time if there is enough interest, so please keep an eye on the website.

this week:
Monday's practices will run as normal this week. THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE PRACTICE ON THURSDAY WHICH WILL RUN FROM 7 UNTIL 9PM ONLY. Dan will be out on Monday and Thursday. Sandra, Mike and Ranil will be out on Monday night only.

if you would like to see classes run during the last week of august (and plan to attend) please email info@westdalefencing.com to let us know before august 20th. if enough people will be out, we're happy to run practices that week but if not, we will probably close the club and give the coaches a break!

monday and thursday practices are running as usual this week. dan will be out on thursday only. other coaches will be out as normal. there will be an open practice on saturday morning from 10:30 - noon. all are welcome - drop in fees will apply.

Weekly Update: July 23, 2012
This Week:
Monday and Thursday practices are running as usual. There is no open fencing session on Wednesday - these have been suspended until after labour day weekend now. There will be a sabre class on Saturday, and there will also be an open practice from 10:30 - 1pm (provided there is enough interest - please check the website nearer the time for confirmation!). Note that drop-in fees will apply for the Saturday open practices for those not in our HP program.
Ciancone, Banks and Sonnadara will be out as normal this week. Dulac will not be out on Monday.
Vacation:
If you are planning on being away, please let us know so that we plan our practices accordingly.

Monday and Thursday practices are running as usual. There is no open fencing session on Wednesday. There will be a youth sabre class on Saturday provided there is sufficient interest. All coaches will be out as normal this week.

Weekly Update: July 2, 2012
This Week:
There is an early practice running on Monday from 6 - 8pm, but no late class this week due to the holiday. Thursday's practices will run as usual. There is no open fencing session this week on Wednesday. Ranil, Sandra and Michael will be out as usual, but Dan will not be out at all this week.

Weekly Update: June 25, 2012
This week:
Monday and Thursday practices are running as usual this week. Wednesday night (6pm - 8pm) is open to anybody who wants to get some extra fencing time in (there will not be any coaching, just free fencing). Drop-in rates apply to those not part of our Elite or HP programs. Ranil and Mike will only be out on Monday. Sandra and Dan will be out as normal. There is a Saturday sabre class this week from 10:30 - noon.
This past weekend was the Korfanty Cup which is an FIE A grade Women's Sabre World Cup. Congratulations to Kristina Han, who placed 93rd in her first international competition!!
There is no Yoga Class on Thursday.
Next week:
There will be an early class on July 2nd, but no late class due to the holiday.

Only Monday and Thursday practices will be running this week - there will be no fencing session this Wednesday as too many people are away this week. Whether there will be an elite class on Monday night will be decided earlier on Monday - please check with Dan for details. Sandra will be out on Monday night only. Dan, Mike and Ranil will be out on Monday and Thursday. If there is enough interest, there will be a yoga class on Thursday night. Details to follow.

This past weekend was the 2012 Friends and Family day. It was great to see so many old and new faces out. Many thanks to Anna, Paul, Sandra, Mike, Dan, Terri, Bob, Ernie and all the other helpers for making it another successful event, despite the weather being a little damp!
